When you become a member of the New Zealand Historic Places Trust - now trading as Heritage New Zealand -  make a donation to this organisation, buy from us, or otherwise enter into a business or professional relationship with us, we respect your privacy. We do not sell, trade or share this information with anyone outside this organisation without your permission.

The information you provide is used for the purpose for which it was collected from you, to give effect to the relationship into which you have entered, and/or the provision of the services that we have agreed to provide. 

When you visit this website, we collect information that does not identify individuals, but provides us with feedback about which pages are visited, how often the site is visited and other disclosed information.  The aggregated statistical information of this type may be disclosed to third parties in the interest of making the site more efficient and effective, but this will never include information which identifies individuals.

Email newsletters

You will only receive email newsletters or advice about upcoming events and activities if you have expressly signed up for a newsletter through our website, by joining our membership programme or by other means where you have given us permission to contact you in this way.   You may unsubscribe to a newsletter service at any time using the unsubscribe link within each email sent by Heritage New Zealand, or by advising us via our general email address information@heritage.org.nz

If you are a member of the NZHPT (Heritage New Zealand), you may request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you at any time.  If you wish to change this information, please advise Membership Services by telephone, fax or email about the necessary changes.
