As well as seasonal fruit and veg there will be homemade preserves, pickles and jams, fresh cut flowers, bread, honey, locally-sourced meats and sausages, smoked fish, nut butters, tea, deli products, Mexican sauces, boutique olive oil, homemade kombutcha, delicious artisan breads and sweet treats from Mt Albert's My Little Bakery. Coffee is care of Sam from Recovery Vehicle.
Local makers will be selling beautiful handmade items such as cards, prints, jewellery, candles, homewares, kids' clothes, soap, beauty products and other unique trinkets.
Street food stalls include Langos Hungarian fried bread puffs, Ginza Takoyaki Japanese dumplings, Sabores Argentinian and authentic Ethiopian and Sudanese specialties from the WISE Collective (an initiative enabled by Auckland Regional Migrant services empowering migrant and refugee women).
Mister Gelato is coming along with his old-fashioned ice-cream cart and Living Juice will be there creating all kinds of fresh fruit and veg juices and smoothies. Alberton's volunteers will serve tea and light English scones with cream and jam on the veranadah, from the vintage china of course!
There will be giveaways and competitions (a huge hamper of goodies donated by the stallholders), music and fairy face-painting for the children as well as Easter egg decorating for a gold coin and an Easter egg hunt at 11am thanks to Bayleys Mt Albert!
