Back by popular demand! Dig out your treasures and bring them along for a fascinating afternoon at historic Alberton! Following the format of the popular British TV show, your antiques and vintage curios will be examined by the experts - the 'antique rogues' Terry Sutcliffe and Greg Smith - two knowledgeable antiquarians who are up for the challenge of identifying and appraising whatever comes their way.

Antiques Roadshow (Sophia)

Terry (pictured above), a local historian, horologist and lawyer, has unique collections of old maritime and pharmacology items and is currently researching the social history of New Zealand watch and clock makers for a publication. Greg, a collector and former dealer, has interests in small antiques such as personal accessories, jewellery and novelty silver as well as anything pertaining to New Zealand history.

Who knows what objects will turn up on the tables for inspection and what stories of their origins, makers and owners will be brought to light!
