Collectors Cabinet - All Dolled Up

24/05/2018 - 26/08/2018

The next lot of curiosities to fill the cabinet in Alberton's ballroom is a sample of dolls dating from the 1880s to the 1950s. Belonging to Auckland collector Karen Staniland, Karen’s lifelong love of dolls began with a pink plastic Kewpie given to her as a toddler. She now has over 300 dolls as well as miniatures and teddy bears.
