Visit Highwic during our Coal Range Cooking days and see, smell and taste cooking being done on our authentic Victorian coal range.
Enrol your young sorcerers in Highwic School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for a day of magical mischief, fantastical fun and creepy creativity. Come dressed in your best wizarding garb and attend an Advanced Potion Making class, undertake a Wandlore Apprenticeship, become adept at Magical Millenary and complete the ultimate Quest for Magical Creatures in our grounds. If you prove to have enough wizarding potential you’ll fly away a graduate of the prestigious Highwic School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Discover the timeless charm of Highwic's Christmas Garden Festival. Floral displays, plant stalls, garden tours and more. Don't miss the chance to shop for Christmas at the Christmas shop - open 7 days from 21 October until Christmas Eve.

Saturday morning at Highwic’s Christmas Garden Festival is specially for kids! At 10.45am, Cherry the Clown will arrive and then you can make your own miniature Christmas Garden and enter it in our kids' design competition. Some materials will be available but if you want to make your own special design, bring it ready-made to go in the competition.
Entries close at 1.30 pm, but best come in the morning and see Cherry the Clown to get you in the creative mood. Free entry to the Festival for all.
Rules - Each garden must fit on a board or tray that is no bigger than a sheet of A4 paper – 29.5 x 21 cm. For children 4 to 6 years and 7 to 11 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Entries will be judged at 2 pm.
