Highwic holiday fun - ANZAC biscuits

27/04/2017

Highwic’s beautifully restored coal range will be fired up ready for kids to make their own ANZAC biscuits on the coal range – just like their great-grandmothers did during the First World War.  Places are limited over two sessions, so please book early.  Suitable for primary age children 7 and over.

Originally a hard, long keeping biscuit that needed dunking, today’s recipes are sweeter and softer.

Keep with tradition by making biscuits the old way on Highwic’s coal range.

No added electricity.
