Making paint from clay
expand/collapse

The popular art workshops are back at the Thames School of Mines.  Wellington artist Barry Thomas and son Max (fine arts graduate) will take you through the process from crushing clay to creating individual artworks.  The theme this time is Discover Transportation in the 19th Century - be inspired by horse-drawn, steam-driven, wind or pedal-powered transport of all kinds.

Selected artwork from the workshops will be exhibited during Thames Heritage Weekend.
