Get up close and personal with a vintage hand-crank sewing machine in this workshop at Alberton!  In the grand ballroom, expert Gracie Mathews will guide you through the process on her antique Singer sewing machines.

You'll have a machine of your own to make a beautiful, old-worldy linens/delicates/gift bag with trimmings! Inspiring lace and fabric off cuts and other salvaged vintage pieces will be provided with lots flexibility for you to bring your ideas into the design. Create something for yourself or a special, handmade Christmas gift.  The 2 hour class is followed by tea & scones served from the vintage china. Tickets include Alberton admission so you can explore the house before or after the class.
