In Alberton's historic ballroom, surrounded by a display of abundant floral still-lives by artist Emma Bass as part of the exhibition 'The Impossible Garden', drift into reverie in this enchanting one-off concert hosted by classical duo Heartstrings.   Performers Natarani & Sasha Witten-Hannah present a musical journey into diverse lands and times. Let the velvety resonance of the cello and the warmth of the classical guitar, transport you to faraway places and Mediterranean climes!

This light, one hour concert in the style of a Victorian parlour soirée will be a potpourri of melody, featuring waltzes, music by Handel & Bach, Spanish guitar pieces, 19th century gems by Saint Saens and Elgar, Celtic dances and more, interspersed with snippets of poetry and stories.  Heartstrings children Sofia (violin) and Theo (cello) will join their parents for a few pieces.

Tickets include drinks & canapes served before the show and entry to explore the house.
