An exhibition telling the story of an old Kiwi shearing shed practice, which produced some of the country’s earliest export brands that represented New Zealand internationally has reached HighwicSecret Lives of Stencils is an exhibition that celebrates the life and 150-year history of the New Zealand wool bale stencil and aims to preserve the memory of an aspect of our pastoral heritage that is rapidly disappearing.

How Much?

Cost is included in the normal admission to Highwic: Adults: $10, children and Heritage New Zealand members free.

Cost

Adults: $10 Accompanied children under 18 years: free. Children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of four children per paying adult. Unaccompanied children 15 years and above and still at school: $8. Onsite parking available. Please understand that surcharges may apply at times of special events.
